M&S Biotics, Inc. is a healthcare Internet of Things (IoT) company focused on improving a surgical procedure’s efficiency, efficacy, and safety by implementing our Biotic Integration system. This company was born out of the necessity to put patient care first while alleviating the strain healthcare institutions face with rising costs, limited resources, and an uncertain regulatory landscape.
Our CEO and Founder Joshua Mecca underwent a kidney transplant on August 8th, 2013. Although the surgery was successful, Josh’s due diligence about the procedure discovered significant inefficiencies, safety concerns, and unnecessary risks that each and every patient faces when they undergo a surgical procedure. This inspired Josh to take action and develop a solution to ensure every operating room equipped with M&S Biotics’ “Smart Table” will perform more efficient, effective, and safer surgical procedures.
